Rigid Tactical is seeking a highly qualified Ordnance Logistics HAZMAT Inspector / Shipping Clerk to serve as Key Personnel supporting Naval Special Warfare Group Two (NSWG-2) Logistics Support Unit Two (LOGSU-2) at JEB Little Creek - Fort Story. This critical position is responsible for coordinating the safe, compliant, and efficient tactical movement of ammunition and explosives. The role involves preparing specialized hazard documentation, ensuring strict adherence to federal and military transportation regulations, and serving as a subject matter expert on multi-modal munitions shipping for deploying naval special warfare forces.
Employment is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications/ Requirements
- Possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) utilizing common and standard business software programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
- Possess an active SECRET Security Clearance.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience related to the duties of a logistics shipping clerk, garnered from a minimum of three years of active experience within the past 5 years.
- Demonstrated background dealing specifically with specialized Ordnance HAZMAT shipping requirements.
- Must possess and maintain an active HAZMAT Certifier certification for hazardous material shipping.
- Official documentation of previous Ordnance Qualification/Certification Board Membership is strictly required.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with supported commands and prepare all required compliance documentation to facilitate the seamless movement of munitions in support of NSWG-2 and its component commands.
- Provide detailed technical advice and operational assistance pertaining to the movement of sensitive munitions via all modes of transportation (land, air, and sea).
- Masterfully utilize governing technical publications, hazard classifications, and defense logistics directives to facilitate and streamline shipment priorities.
