Rigid Tactical Seeks Experienced HSTC Exercise Planner and C-IED Instructor
Are you a seasoned training professional with a passion for keeping troops safe from IED threats?
Rigid Tactical is searching for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an HSTC Exercise Planner and C-IED Instructor. In this challenging and rewarding role, you'll develop and deliver critical training that equips military personnel with the skills and knowledge to counter improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
SECRET clearance.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Craft engaging and effective training: Design schedules and curriculum for HSTC training events, incorporating the latest C-IED tactics and procedures.
- Become a C-IED expert: Deliver individual and collective C-IED training based on government-approved curriculum, staying up-to-date on evolving threats.
- Coordinate like a pro: Schedule role players, manage logistics, and ensure smooth execution of training events, including field exercises.
- Plan with precision: Manage short and long-term training schedules, ensuring efficient coordination and de-confliction.
- Maintain meticulous records: Track reports, paperwork, and administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree BS/BA in science, engineering, management or other relevant field.
- At least four (4) years of recent (within the last six years) experience in a technical discipline relevant to stated requirements such as EOD to include military or military support operational experience that includes Individual Improvised Explosive Device (IED)-related and Collective Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED)-related tasks, communications, security, or intelligence programs.
- Associate's degree and three (3) additional years of experience; or a total of five (5) additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Management experience in military operations and plans (4 years minimum; within the last six years).
- Ability to interface with all levels of Command.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively use personal relationships.
- Ability to work in a small team and willingness to excel and provide excellent training support despite irregular event schedules and workload. C-IED or EOD Technician experience (4 years minimum; within the last six years).
