Maritime Expeditionary Security Group One

Rigid Tactical is seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals to serve as Maritime Expeditionary Security Group One . These roles are critical in providing realistic and effective training to NSW forces, ensuring their readiness for complex maritime operations. Successful candidates will be instrumental in developing, coordinating, and executing exercise scenarios, leveraging their extensive tactical knowledge and instructional expertise.

Qualifications / Requirements 

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Navy Enlisted Code (NEC) (9502) 805A Instructor

  • Navy NEC (9518) A12A Professional Development Instructor

  • Completed Journeyman Instructor Training (JIT) or equivalent

  • Four (4) years of documented small boat/craft tactical experience in a maritime environment with proficiency
  • Possess an active state driver’s license.

  • Record of PQS qualifications in all CORIVFOR weapons and weapon systems.

  • Qualified Navy Second Class Swimmer or equivalent.

 

Duties/Responsibilites:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction and mentorship to NSW personnel during exercise scenarios.

  • Develop and refine exercise plans, incorporating realistic threats and operational challenges.

  • Conduct thorough pre-exercise briefs, in-exercise guidance, and post-exercise debriefs.

  • Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance tactical proficiency.

  • Operate and maintain various maritime assets and equipment used in training.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs and methodologies.

  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.

  • Collaborate effectively with NSW staff, exercise participants, and other support personnel.

  • Perform administrative duties related to exercise planning and execution.

  • Must be physically fit. (See Notes below for further details regarding physical fitness requirements.)

  •  Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics.

  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Small Boat/Craft Tactical Experience: in:

    • Maritime Navigation

    • Tactical Boat Operations

    • Military Decision-Making Processes (Begin, Arrange, Make, Complete, Issue, Supervise (BAMCIS))

    • Organizational and individual planning

    • Tactical Boat Patrol Coordination

    • Development and issuance of Concept of Operations, Warning Order, Patrol Order, and Mission Debriefing.
